New canteen for Phoenix Contact

The staff canteen for the company Phoenix Contact in Nanjing (China) is designed as a three-storey complex with possible office usage on the third floor. Both restaurant levels, with seating capacity for 800 guests, are connected in the triangular building apex between two floors.

The facade is composed of chinese granite and ample window openings screened with typhoon-safe, flexible anti-glare blinds. The structure creates a new entrance setting for the company premises and integrates the company owned park (characteristic of Chinese firms) into the complete complex.
