The IHK building consists of two two-storey structures with office, training and administrative facilities, and also a single-storey linking structure which connects both wings of the building and provides cafeteria, foyer and exhibition space.

The building structure depends on its transparency and mediates between the interior and exterior spaces. The appearance results in an up-to-date, functional and objective architecture in simple elegance.
